Justin Bieber has been allegedly caught smoking a marijuana cigarette. Images published by TMZ reportedly show the teen pop star and his friends with a home-made roll up at a hotel room in California. The tabloid claims that Justin's friend, Lil Twist, and his brother were present and were rolling the blunts.

The "Boyfriend" singer later took to Twitter to send a cryptic messages which seemed to relate to the incident: "everyday growing up and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up." He continued, "i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and thank u..#beliebers."

TMZ claims that the images were taken last week Wednesday (2 January).
