Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III album continues to be marred by controversy
as producers Drew and Infamous are reportedly suing Young Money for
unpaid royalties. TMZ reported on Saturday that Andrew “Drew” Correa and
Marcos “Infamous” Rodriguez both filed two separate lawsuits against
Young Money Entertainment. Both claim that while they were receiving
some of the royalties owed to them by the label, the payments stopped
coming. A number of other Tha Carter III producers have filed lawsuits
against Wayne’s camp since the album was released in 2008. Play-N-Skillz
and Jim Jonson are among those that took action against the label at
one time but many have settled their differences with YME privately.
