This year's "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown to
Music's Biggest Night" special has added a few more big guns. In
addition to awards-show favorite daughter Taylor Swift, who will co-host the special along with two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J,
the show will also feature performances from Fun. and Ne-Yo.
Swift
and LL will be the first to announce some of the nominees live during
the fifth annual nominations show, which will air on CBS on December 5
at 10 p.m. E.T. from Bridgestone Arena in Swift's homebase of Nashville.
Fun. and three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo join a performer lineup that
already includes country star Luke Bryan and triple Grammy winners
Maroon 5.
The 55th annual awards show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10.
Swift
is no stranger to the Grammy Awards, as she has earned herself six
awards and has had 12 nominations. In 2010, at the age of 20, the "Begin
Again" singer also became the youngest artist to ever win the Album of the Year award
with Fearless.
The
one-hour Grammy special will announce nominations in several categories
and will take place live for the first time. More performers and
presenters will be announced in the next few weeks. After the show,
attendees will be treated to an exclusive one-hour show by Maroon 5,
with tickets on sale now on Ticketmaster. -kelvin nkya
